Repro Roundup #3 (March)

March 15, 2025

Did you know there are 765 brick and mortar, aka local abortion clinics, in the United States?

Every March 10, the abortion community comes together to honor those providers for Abortion Provider Appreciation Day.

In the memory of the late Dr. David Gunn, this annual day celebrates Dr. Gunn who was murdered in 1993 by an anti-abortion, white supremacist.

For this year’s Abortion Provider Appreciation Day, Pro-Choice Washington team members delivered plants to our friends at Lilith Clinics and Cedar Rivers Clinics.

Seeking an abortion provider can be stressful. AbortionFinder is a verified resource that helps connect patients with trusted care.

Unfortunately, many abortion providers are watching their federal protections, via the Freedom of Access to Clinic Act (FACE), be dismantled by the Trump Administration and the Department of Justice.

As a result, abortion seekers may administer care by themselves through self-managed abortions. Here’s an overview of self-managed abortions with questions to ask yourself if you’re considering one.

Abortion providers act out of love and with hope for the future.

If you know someone who provides this critical, community service, you can say thank you by donating to independent abortion clinics or writing them a note.

Besides thanking an abortion provider, here’s your biweekly roundup of actions:

Learn about Wellspring Health Access

The last abortion clinic in Wyoming has stopped offering in person appointments, but they are still taking calls to patients. Make a donation, sign up for their mailing list, or show them support them.

Attend a legislator town hall

Make sure your legislator is on the right track by asking questions and having direct conversations. Telling your legislator what matters in your district is vital to the legislative process.

Join the 2025 Peace & Justice Conference in Spokane

The annual Peace & Justice Action Conference is the largest event in the Inland Northwest region for activists to sharpen skills, deepen analysis, and strengthen relationships. Virtual and in-person options available!

With love,
